This year we had a great time rehearsing and coming together to perform what we believe is the most important part of our faith.  Being able to illustrating the sacrifice Jesus Christ made for us was an awesome opportunity.

The Easter Play is the best one, we've had, I've been to each one of them but this is the Best, I took my neighbor and her children, to the Easter play, she's a catholic, She said she had goose bumps when Anna Roberson was crying when the people wanted to stone the woman that was got in adultry, and when Anna was singing the Mercy Sit.

The trial, I expected to see the trial, When they started to whip Jesus I could not stop crying. I had a four year old with me. He was afraid of the devil. He turned to me and said ''May we go home now''. He raised his hand during the alter call and when Mark ask the people that raised their hands to go to the front, The four year old went on his own and put his hands up in surrendance. Just to see what affect this had on a four year old, I just cried even more.

Re: What were your experiences from this Year's Easter Production?

I have been to the last three Easter productions and this one blew me away. The songs and singers were really outstanding. I like the way the cast uses the aisles for an extension of the stage for not only the human cast but the live animals.

Re: What were your experiences from this Year's Easter Production?

As a new member of HCC, I had never seen one of the plays in person, but the Lord called me to be a part of this year's production and the last few months have been an amazing journey! I thank God for how He used Pastor Mark, his Drama team and the cast and crew in my life these weeks and months; especially Mama Ruth. A new boldness of faith has resulted in the life of this exhorter and I highly recommend becoming involved in the play process to everyone. It really is all about the souls! When I heard Jesus' soliloquy in the garden it made a huge impact on me in that I understood in a very real way that Jesus had a choice of whether or not He would die for us and He put aside His will for that of our Father's. Thank you Jesus and thank you HCC & Pastor Mark for allowing me to be a part of this incredible endeavor! God Bless you all!!

Re: What were your experiences from this Year's Easter Production?

I had been attending HCC for a great while last year and was even a part of the 2006 production with my husband. We stopped comeing to church and stopped putting god first in our lives and needles to say that god chastens those whom he loves so he put us through the furnace the last several months but has never forsaken us.
We came to see the 2007 Easter play and it touched our hearts and our lives. God always gives Pastor Mark the message that he needs to produce to the masses and these easter plays reach so many hurting and broken hearts and i just want to say Thank you god, and thank you pastor Mark, Tom Bolan, Mama Ruth, Sonya, Costume Ladies, Crew and everyone that makes them possible!

Re: What were your experiences from this Year's Easter Production?

I loved it , but I miss the multicultural Jesus's. What happened to using black, hispanic, and asian actors to play Jesus? Skins of bronze an hair of wool!
