Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Hebrews 11:1,6

Giving tithes and offerings unto the Lord is an act of faith. James 2:17 tells us very clearly that faith without action is dead! In other words, your faith in God is not enough --- you must be obedient to the Word of God and give of your talents, give of your gifts, and yes, give of your finances in order to further the Kingdom of God here on Earth. By giving you are not only being obedient to God’s Word, but you are saying unto the Lord, “I believe in Your Word, I believe in Your Promises, I know that you will rebuke the devourer in my life, and I know that You want me to live in purpose and abundance!”

The seed that fell on good soil represents those who truly hear and understand God’s word and produce a harvest of thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times as much as had been planted! Matthew 13:23
